Branch Manager – Cash in Transit (CIT)

About the role

The Branch Manager – Cash in Transit (CIT) leads the Gulu branch of G4S Secure Solutions, overseeing high‑risk cash logistics, vault operations and armored transport. The role ensures operational efficiency, profitability and strict security compliance for regional banking and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily CIT route dispatches, vault holdings and cash processing centre activities across Northern Uganda.
• Enforce G4S operating standards, local legislation and international security protocols to minimise transit vulnerabilities.
• Lead emergency response drills, contingency planning and tactical actions for high‑threat scenarios.
• Manage scheduling, maintenance and tracking of armored vehicle fleet to maximise availability.
• Oversee branch P&L, budget alignment, cost controls and accurate client invoicing.
• Maintain service level agreements with banks and retail groups, and coordinate with Uganda Police Force for escort support.
• Direct background vetting, continuous screening and performance evaluation of CIT crew members.

Required profile

• University degree or higher diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Security Management or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive experience in high‑risk logistics, military, police or private security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven background in Cash in Transit, ATM operations or bank vault management is highly advantageous.
• Resident of Gulu or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Experience using GPS tracking software.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace.
