About the role

We are seeking a Certificate Nurse to join Axel Uganda Limited in Kamwokya, Kampala. The role focuses on delivering direct patient care, monitoring health status, and supporting both patients and junior staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients and build trust.
• Plan and deliver individualized patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs.
• Collect samples and record pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures.
• Administer and monitor medication.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Organise workloads and coordinate care activities.
• Provide emotional support to patients and relatives.
• Tutor student nurses.
• Advise patients and families on health‑related issues.

Required profile

• Certificate in Nursing.
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates welcome.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting.
• Strong communication and empathy.
