Pharmacy Dispenser – Full-time On-site Role

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily pharmacy operations at Kakie Organics in Kamwokya, Kampala. The Dispenser will verify prescriptions, dispense products accurately, and assist with basic compounding when needed. You will work closely with pharmacists and technicians to ensure compliance and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescription orders.
• Dispense pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products with precision.
• Assist in basic compounding of formulations.
• Provide clear product usage and dosage instructions to customers.
• Maintain accurate records, inventory, and dispensing area cleanliness.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and regulatory protocols.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy, or Food & Nutrition.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy practice and prescription handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to ethical standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory.
