Civil Peace Service Advisor – Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation
Giz Viet Nam · Kamwokya
Job description
About the role
The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a government‑backed programme that works to prevent violence, transform civil conflicts and support peacebuilding across Uganda. In partnership with civil society and government actors, CPS builds trust between conflicting parties, helps communities process violent pasts and promotes inclusive participation of civil society. Through dialogue and violence‑prevention measures, the programme also contributes to reducing prejudice and stereotypes. As the Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PME) Advisor, you will ensure methodological quality and strategic coherence throughout all levels of the CPS programme. Your role focuses on applying a context‑sensitive, aligned and impact‑oriented multi‑level approach that supports the programme’s objectives. By maintaining high standards of monitoring and evaluation, you will help enhance the effectiveness of CPS interventions and strengthen its overall impact.
