Co-Head Pro Bono Health

About the role

The Co‑Head of Pro Bono Health will jointly lead the design, implementation and oversight of health‑focused interventions for Pro Bono Uganda. Working side‑by‑side with the Head of Pro Bono Health, you will ensure programs are community‑driven, evidence‑based and aligned with national and global health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑lead the design and rollout of initiatives such as medical camps, SRHR education, mental‑health awareness and maternal‑child health support.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and mentorship of health volunteers and allied professionals.
• Build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, clinics, NGOs, professional associations and local leaders.
• Assist with basic Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) processes, documentation of impact and data‑driven program improvement.
• Uphold safeguarding, risk‑assessment and compliance with Uganda’s health policies and Pro Bono Uganda’s values.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in public health, nursing, medicine, psychology, social work or community health.
• Experience in community outreach, health education or volunteer coordination.
