Consultancy to draft and edit UNICEF Five-Year CPD Report

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced consultant to lead the drafting and editing of the Five‑Year 2021‑2025 Country Programme Document (CPD) report. The assignment is remote and will consolidate five annual COARs into a high‑level advocacy document that showcases cumulative results for children in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a literature review of COAR reports (2021‑2025) and the CPD.
• Develop and gain consensus on the report outline in collaboration with the Deputy Representative.
• Map key results, partnerships, lessons learned and transformative donor contributions.
• Write the summative five‑year CPD report and incorporate feedback.
• Coordinate with an internal graphic designer to produce the final published report.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in mass communication, journalism, development policy, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in clear, focused writing and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality reports for development or humanitarian organisations.
