Consultant for drafting and editing UNICEF 5‑Year CPD Report (Remote)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a consultant to lead the drafting and editing of the Five‑Year 2021‑2025 Country Programme Document (CPD) Report. Working remotely under the supervision of the Chief Planning Monitoring and Evaluation and in functional matrix to the Deputy Representative, you will produce a high‑level advocacy document that showcases cumulative results for children in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a literature review of COAR reports (2021‑2025) and the CPD.
• Draft and gain consensus on the outline for the five‑year CPD report.
• Map key cumulative results, partnerships and lessons learned.
• Write the summative five‑year CPD report.
• Solicit, incorporate and address comments from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the internal graphic designer to design and publish the final report.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in mass communication, English writing, journalism, development policy, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in clear, focused writing and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality reports; proof samples may be required.
• Prior experience editing and designing UNICEF Country Office reports is desired.
• Proficiency in written English (and other languages as required).
