Consultant – Governance and Trade (FLEGT)

About the role
CIFOR seeks expressions of interest from qualified consultancy candidates in the specialization of Governance and Trade (FLEGT). The consultant will support the development, coordination and monitoring of initiatives that promote sustainable forest governance and compliant trade practices. The position is full‑time and based in Kampala, Kamwokya. Applicants should be prepared to work in a multicultural environment and contribute to continuous learning and improvement.
Required profile
- Holds a relevant degree as required.
- Fluent spoken and written English; proficiency in additional international languages is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams, preferably in a non‑profit organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to information sharing and continuous improvement.
