Credit Controller – Collections & Credit Management

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance team in Kampala. The role focuses on managing collections, enforcing credit limits and improving the efficiency of our credit processes in line with Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full debtor book and ensure timely recovery of both current and overdue debts.
• Enforce credit limits for customers and monitor credit exposure.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to resolve credit issues and maintain accurate records.
• Support the development and optimisation of collection procedures and reporting.
• Prepare regular reports on debt status, collection performance and credit risk.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience (up to 12 months) in credit control, collections or related finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established debt recovery processes.
• Good analytical mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude.
