Data Annotation Specialist – Full‑Time

About the role

CloudFactory is looking for a Data Annotation Specialist to join its mission‑driven team in Gulu. You will help train AI systems by reviewing, labeling, and structuring a variety of data formats, ensuring high‑quality inputs for real‑world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate text, image, audio, or document data according to detailed guidelines.
• Label, classify, or extract information with a focus on accuracy.
• Maintain quality and productivity targets set by project leads.
• Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, or unclear data and flag them.
• Incorporate feedback to continuously improve annotation quality.
• Collaborate with reviewers and project leads when needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Good problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Comfortable with repetitive, accuracy‑focused tasks.
• Reliable, organized, and quality‑driven.
• Good English reading and comprehension skills.
