Debt Collection Agent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Debt Collection Agent to join our team in Kamwokya, Kampala. This position provides fresh graduates with a hands‑on opportunity to develop collection, negotiation and customer service skills within a dynamic BPO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to clients with overdue accounts.
• Negotiate repayment plans and obtain commitments.
• Follow up consistently to ensure agreed payments are received.
• Maintain professionalism, empathy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Record call details, agreements and customer commitments accurately.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English and at least one local language (e.g., Luganda, Runyankole, Luo, Lugisu, Lusoga, Rukiga).
• Persistence and ability to work under targets.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping.
