Digital Marketing Trainee (Full‑time, Kampala)

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Trainee to join its Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Kampala and starts on 1 October 2026. You will support the team in creating and executing digital and social media campaigns while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms.
• Analyze web traffic and campaign performance using web analytics tools.
• Create marketing content such as articles, blog posts, and social media copy, including research, editing and proofreading.
• Develop content strategies and collaborate with team members on various projects.
• Coordinate online marketing efforts and maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Background or strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
