Drama Teacher – IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

About the role

The school is seeking an inspiring Drama Teacher to join its Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) faculty. You will design and deliver inquiry‑based drama lessons that develop confidence, communication, collaboration and cultural awareness among primary learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and teach engaging drama sessions aligned with the IB PYP framework.
• Integrate movement, storytelling and creative expression into cross‑curricular projects.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with international staff to enrich the performing‑arts curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, US licence or equivalent).
• Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching drama in a primary or international school setting is highly desirable.
• Passion for inquiry‑led learning and holistic child development.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding.
