Driver – LPG Delivery in Mbarara

About the role

Ramcogas is looking for a responsible and physically fit driver to join its LPG operations in Mbarara. The role involves delivering gas cylinders to customers, loading and unloading heavy stock, and making regular trips to Kampala to collect inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Safely drive company trucks to deliver LPG cylinders to clients in Mbarara and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload heavy LPG cylinders, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Connect and set up cylinders for customers when required.
• Travel to Kampala to collect LPG stock and return it to Mbarara.
• Inspect, clean and maintain the vehicle, keeping it roadworthy and serviced.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report stock movements.
• Provide courteous customer service and represent the company professionally.

Required profile

• Valid Ugandan driving licence (Class CM or CH preferred).
• Proven experience driving trucks or delivery vehicles.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy LPG cylinders.
• Trustworthy, reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Mbarara and Kampala.
