Driver (M/F) – UG

About the role

The driver will provide safe and reliable transport services for Mota Engil staff, ensuring punctual pick‑ups and drop‑offs while maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. The role also includes occasional errands such as delivering mail or packages.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and meet employees according to scheduled requests.
• Perform errands for staff, including delivery and collection of mail and parcels.
• Test vehicle equipment (lights, brakes, horns, wipers) to confirm proper operation.
• Assist staff with entering and exiting the vehicle and handling luggage.
• Carry out routine maintenance: check tire pressure, refuel, add oil and water.
• Execute minor repairs such as cleaning spark plugs or arranging service with mechanics.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors; wash and polish exteriors.
• Complete accident reports when required.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid government‑approved driving licence.
• Minimum three years of professional driving experience.
• UACE or equivalent education.
• Defensive driving certificate (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
