Egocentric Video Data Collector (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to capture first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The recordings will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. Work is performed remotely using a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of routine tasks (e.g., cleaning, organizing) while wearing a head strap or smart glasses.
• Follow strict technical guidelines such as stable lighting, landscape orientation, specific resolution, and camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the QA team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30/60 FPS.
• Suitable residential or workspace environment for recording.
• Strong attention to detail to keep hands visible, avoid mirrors/reflections, and maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
