Electrical Commissioning Supervisor – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The Electrical Commissioning Supervisor will lead the commissioning of electrical systems on the EACOP pipeline project, coordinating contractors and local teams to deliver safe and compliant installations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site electrical commissioning activities and monitor contractor performance.
• Review commissioning dossiers, test procedures, and technical documentation.
• Witness FAT, SAT, loop checks and functional testing; support energisation activities.
• Manage interfaces with construction, commissioning and operations teams.
• Enforce HSE standards, participate in toolbox talks and report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare and close punch‑list items, coordinate priorities with stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced local personnel and ensure knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical commissioning experience in Oil & Gas or energy projects.
• Experience on large EPC projects, preferably pipelines or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems and electrical protection.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
