Employee Benefits Consultant

About the role

The Employee Benefits Consultant will serve as the primary control and coordination point for People & Culture (P&C) benefits administration. You will manage the end‑to‑end benefits value chain, ensuring accurate processing, financial reconciliation, and strong vendor relationships while delivering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee administration of medical, retirement, and risk benefits, ensuring compliance with contracts and timely enrollment.
• Perform regular reconciliation of benefits payments, verify pre‑payment requirements, and conduct post‑payment quality reviews.
• Execute first‑line quality assurance checks on benefit‑related data in P&C systems.
• Monitor service provider performance against SLAs and act as the main point of contact for employee queries.
• Maintain accurate benefit master data in Payroll and Core Master Data systems for payroll processing and statutory reporting.
• Generate comprehensive benefits reports for executive committees and management forums.
• Facilitate benefit awareness sessions and develop communication materials.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Business Commerce, Psychology or Social Sciences.
• 5‑7 years of experience in P&C operations with a strong focus on benefits administration, payroll, or financial reconciliation.
• Proven experience handling large‑scale data sets and complex vendor reconciliations.
