Enterprise Banker

About the role

The Enterprise Banker will drive business performance by acquiring new enterprise customers and deepening relationships with existing ones. Acting as the primary sales and service point for Business Banking clients, the role balances proactive prospecting with attentive account management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sales and service to Business Banking customers, dedicating roughly 50% of time to client interaction.
• Contact prospects to open enterprise banking accounts in line with bank policies.
• Participate in product campaigns, clearly explaining offerings and meeting sales targets.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities to grow portfolio profitability.
• Proactively generate interest through face‑to‑face visits, branch interactions and telephone outreach.
• Originate client credit applications and coordinate with the commercial credit team following SME lending guidelines.
• Conduct structured customer meetings with defined objectives and outcomes.
• Maintain personal sales performance statistics for management reporting.
• Collaborate with branch staff to secure referrals for specialised products.
• Complete account opening documentation and ensure accurate submission for processing.
• Perform financial analysis and statement reviews for loan proposals, communicating decisions and next steps to clients.

Required profile

• Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
• Knowledge of SME lending guidelines and banking procedures.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a branch team.
