Expert Detailing Representative – Uganda

About the role

The role involves acting as an Expert Detailing Representative for a leading consumer healthcare company in Uganda. You will engage healthcare providers, present clinical data, and promote therapeutic solutions to drive brand awareness and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
• Recruit HCPs to digital platforms and support digital engagement initiatives.
• Utilize multiple channels (face‑to‑face, remote, email, webinars) to engage HCPs.
• Guide HCPs in accessing patient communication tools and digital resources.
• Encourage participation in Continuous Medical Education (CME) modules.
• Maintain in‑call quality, monitor performance metrics and achieve KPIs such as AWR, BRMO, and SoR.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs in the territory.
• Distribute medical samples to support patient trials and product conversion.
• Track and meet territory sales targets.
• Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to internal teams.
• Organize and support educational events and meetings while upholding compliance standards.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare role.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Veeva CRM or similar digital tools.
