Field Salesperson

About the role

The Field Salesperson will promote StrongMinds Uganda’s mental‑health services and programs to potential partners, donors, and community stakeholders. Working on‑site in Kampala, the role focuses on building relationships, expanding awareness, and converting interest into concrete engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new leads and partners for StrongMinds Uganda’s programs.
• Conduct outreach visits and presentations to potential donors, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Explain program offerings clearly and follow up to convert interest into engagements.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and prepare basic sales and outreach reports.
• Coordinate with program teams to stay informed about current services and provide field feedback.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in sales, outreach, or community engagement, preferably in nonprofit, healthcare, or social‑services contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic proficiency with office and productivity tools and ability to keep organized records.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, travel locally as needed, and meet outreach targets.
• Knowledge of the Ugandan context and local languages is an advantage, along with genuine interest in mental health.
