About the role
The Finance Coordinator will lead the financial management of Street Child Uganda, ensuring robust systems, accurate reporting and compliance with donor and organisational requirements. Working closely with the Country Director, programme teams and national partners, the role supports transparent and efficient financial operations across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, accounting and cash management for the Uganda office.
- Prepare and submit donor financial reports and ensure procurement compliance.
- Manage financial aspects of infrastructure projects and monitor partner financial performance.
- Support proposal development, audit processes and financial risk management.
- Provide capacity‑building and oversight to national implementing partners to meet donor and organisational standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant finance experience, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Senior‑level qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Proven ability to work with donors, government agencies and local partners.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
