Financial Advisor (Part-time, Hybrid)

About the role

ICEA LION Group is seeking motivated Financial Advisors to join its team in Kampala on a part‑time, hybrid basis. You will work both on‑site with clients and remotely, helping them navigate key financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their financial goals and current situations.
• Develop and present tailored financial plans covering savings, investments, retirement and risk management.
• Explain ICEA LION’s insurance and financial products clearly and accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records and monitor portfolio performance.
• Adjust advice as market conditions or client needs change.
• Participate in business development activities such as prospecting, networking and client education sessions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investments and retirement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High ethical standards and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Basic analytical and numerical skills.
• A diploma or degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field is beneficial; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in financial services, insurance or advisory roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software, especially spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
