Freelance Event Videographer

About the role

Shootday is seeking talented freelance videographers to capture high‑quality raw video footage at a variety of events across Kampala. You will work independently, delivering compelling visual stories that showcase each event’s unique atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Record RAW video footage on time, using your own professional gear.
• Cover diverse events such as corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and overall event ambiance.
• Adapt shooting style to the specific needs of each event.
• Collaborate with other videographers when required.
• Guide participants and set up shots for optimal results.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and the Shootday team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to reach event locations.
• Legal authorization to work in Uganda.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments.
