Front Desk Officer – Patient Services

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused Front Desk Officer to join AAR Healthcare Uganda’s clinics in Entebbe and Kabalagala. The role involves being the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and register their information accurately.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate patient flow and manage telephone and email inquiries.
• Process payments according to established procedures and maintain confidential patient records.
• Liaise with clinicians and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Address customer concerns promptly, escalating when necessary, and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and ability to work under pressure in a busy healthcare environment.
• Warm, welcoming personality with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
