Fulfillment Buyer

About the role

The Fulfillment Buyer ensures that purchase orders are delivered on time, in full, and meet quality standards. Acting as the primary link between suppliers and internal teams, this role tracks production progress, manages shipment schedules, and resolves delivery issues to maintain supply chain reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor end‑to‑end order fulfillment, ensuring quantities and delivery dates are met.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to review production status, quality, and shipping plans.
• Coordinate with planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to align material availability with production schedules.
• Track supplier delivery KPIs, prepare performance reports, and support improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics with a focus on order fulfillment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and orders in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational capabilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms.
• Experience with freight forwarding practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
