About the role

Binance is seeking a seasoned leader to drive its growth and market presence across West Africa. The General Manager will align regional strategy with global objectives while navigating local regulatory landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand market presence and drive growth.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and coordinate documentation with regulatory bodies.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry associations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
• Lead market entry strategies and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, media, and community groups.
• Represent Binance at industry events, conferences, and public speaking engagements.
• Oversee P&L, daily operations, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior management experience in a comparable role.
• Proven ability to navigate regulatory environments and work with government agencies.
• Demonstrated success in market expansion and business development.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for external representation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑starting attitude with ownership mindset.
