HORECA Sales & Marketing Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic HORECA Sales & Marketing Executive to drive the growth of imported food and beverage products across hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering firms and institutional clients in Uganda. You will be based in Kampala with travel logistics provided.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new HORECA and institutional customers.
• Promote and sell product range to hotels, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, schools, hospitals and corporate organisations.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet monthly and annual targets.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, product demos and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow‑up documentation.
• Manage key accounts, ensure timely order fulfilment, deliveries and payments.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives, online campaigns and brand‑promotion activities.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and report sales performance.
• Support collections and credit management to minimise overdue balances.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel within Uganda and manage multiple client relationships.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using CRM or sales tracking tools (if mentioned in the original posting).
