HR Consultant – Kampala, Uganda

About the role

Ideon BPO Services Limited is looking for two experienced HR Consultants on a consultancy basis to support its HR outsourcing and advisory business development in Kampala, Uganda. The role involves working closely with the Business Development team to understand client needs and design appropriate HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany Business Development representatives to client meetings as the HR subject‑matter expert.
• Conduct discovery sessions to assess client workforce structure, HR practices, and people‑related challenges.
• Ask probing questions to uncover underlying HR gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide professional HR insights, recommendations, and solution options during client discussions.
• Support positioning of Ideon’s HR outsourcing, advisory, recruitment, payroll, and compliance services.
• Explain HR concepts and recommended solutions in a clear, commercially appropriate manner.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Human Resources Associate or Consultant.
• Comfortable operating in a client‑facing, consultative environment.
• Ability to quickly understand a client’s business and translate HR gaps into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
