Information & Knowledge Management Consultant – Ebola RCCE Support

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Ugandan national consultant to strengthen information and knowledge management within the national RCCE pillar for Ebola preparedness and response. The role combines office‑based work with travel to support coordination, monitoring, reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance information management, knowledge management, reporting and evidence use for the RCCE pillar.
• Support coordination, monitoring and reporting of Ebola preparedness and response activities.
• Manage community insights, social listening and behavioural data to inform decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to produce actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Information Management, Statistics, M&E, Knowledge Management, Data Science, SBC, Development Studies, Communications or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in information/knowledge management, M&E, public health intelligence or emergency response.
• Demonstrated experience supporting public health emergency preparedness and response, preferably with Ebola, COVID‑19, Mpox or Cholera.
• Experience working with government institutions, UN agencies, NGOs or public health programmes.

• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, DHIS2, Excel, Kobo and ODK.
