Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor

About the role

Comsip, a VINCI Energies Oil & Gas subsidiary, is seeking an Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor to lead the commissioning of instrumentation systems on a major pipeline project in Tanzania and Uganda. You will ensure that all equipment and systems are safely brought into operation while supporting start‑up activities and mentoring local staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all instrumentation commissioning activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures, and HSE policies.
• Coordinate field work with contractors, operations teams, and local workforce.
• Monitor commissioning progress, performance, and documentation.
• Conduct field safety inspections and enforce risk mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation or Automation.
• 8–10 years of commissioning experience in oil & gas facilities or pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of field instrumentation and commissioning procedures.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
