Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent based in Kampala. You will be responsible for driving new business by identifying prospects, presenting insurance packages, and guiding clients through the entire sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients and generate leads.
• Conduct client meetings, explain service offerings and prepare quotations.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and follow up on inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client objectives.
• Track sales performance, prepare basic reports and share insights.
• Participate in training sessions and promotional activities as required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales skills including lead generation, negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of insurance products or related services.
• Capability to train and onboard clients, explaining product features.
• Prior experience in sales or advertising, preferably within the Kampala market.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, CRM, office software).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
