Insurance Sales Agent – Remote

About the role

Liberty Uganda is looking for motivated Sales Agents to join its insurance team on a full‑time remote basis. You will engage existing and prospective customers, understand their protection needs, and recommend suitable insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Contact prospects via phone, email and online channels to introduce Liberty’s insurance products.
• Explain product features, benefits and pricing, guiding customers through the application and onboarding process.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team goals.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention and potential upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on product changes, promotions and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous training to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with active listening ability.
• Customer‑focused attitude, empathy and problem‑solving capability.
• Proven sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Basic understanding of insurance concepts and willingness to learn product details.
• Motivation to work independently in a remote environment and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital communication tools (phone, email, online chat).
• Ability to use CRM or similar sales tracking software.
