About the role
National Medical Stores (NMS) is an autonomous corporation mandated to procure, store and distribute medicines and medical supplies across Uganda. NMS is offering internship placements from May to September 2025 across ten functional departments, providing students with practical experience in the health‑supply chain. Interested candidates must submit a PDF package containing a university introduction letter, CV, academic transcripts, student and national ID cards via the NMS careers portal by 5:00 PM on 21 February 2025. Internships last between one to six months, follow NMS working hours and code of conduct, and may be terminated for non‑compliance. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted; lack of response within one month indicates an unsuccessful application.
Required profile
- Ugandan citizen enrolled in a university degree programme and having completed at least Year II of study.
- Submission of a university introduction letter, updated CV, academic transcripts, valid student and national ID cards.
- Clear indication of internship period, course, year of study and expected learning outcomes.
- Competitive CGPA (considered during selection).
