IT Intern

About the role

Join Pcmall Uganda as an IT Intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting real technology devices and customers. You will work alongside the technical operations team, learning to troubleshoot, set up, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers and networking equipment in a fast‑moving business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for end‑users.
• Set up laptops, install software and configure operating systems.
• Assist customers with technical issues and answer queries.
• Test and prepare devices before deployment.
• Support the technical operations team with daily tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher education.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interest in computers, technology and problem solving.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Nice to have: prior hands‑on experience with laptops or desktops and exposure to operating systems.
