LBF Salesperson

About the role

The LBF Salesperson is a full-time, on-site position based in Nakawa, responsible for promoting and selling loan and financial products to existing and prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and engage potential customers.
• Explain product features, benefits and guide clients through the loan application process.
• Meet sales targets, maintain accurate client interaction records, and follow up on leads.
• Collaborate with branch and credit teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to identify client needs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport.
• Basic numeracy and financial literacy to understand loan products, interest rates, and repayment terms.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple clients and documentation.
• Integrity, reliability and high ethical conduct in handling client information.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets and adapt to a fast‑paced microfinance environment.
• Certificate or diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, microfinance, banking or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory.
