About the role
The Assistant Store Manager (Days) leads daytime operations for Grand Market, supporting the Store Leader in achieving operational, financial, and customer service goals.
Key responsibilities
- Open the store and manage daily inventory replenishment.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure product availability, and handle ordering.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and labor planning.
- Train, coach, and supervise associates during shifts.
- Support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and product presentation.
- Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- Serve as Manager on Duty and provide leadership coverage when the Store Leader is absent.
Required profile
- Three years of progressively responsible retail experience.
- At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Driver's license and ability to pass background check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of inventory management.
- Understanding of merchandising and retail pricing.
