About the role
The Programme Officer – Cooperating Partnerships (CPMT Lead Consultant) provides a second‑line oversight function for partner engagements, ensuring fiduciary assurance, transparency and accountability across WFP operations in Uganda.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the CPMT team and coordinate with the Head of Programme.
- Review and validate operational partnership processes and delegated approvals.
- Collaborate with cooperating partners, area offices, finance, supply chain and compliance units to ensure consistent partner management.
- Enhance reporting mechanisms and support audit activities related to partner funding.
- Provide guidance on risk mitigation and compliance with WFP policies.
Required profile
- Senior‑level professional with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven background in programme management, partner oversight or fiduciary assurance within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, able to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Required skills
- Financial oversight and compliance monitoring.
- Partner engagement and stakeholder coordination.
- Understanding of humanitarian programme operations.
