Lead Toddler Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, supporting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where each child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Maintain classroom safety and supervision according to Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Accurately record accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy and licensing requirements.
• Use Cadence-required systems and communication tools to interact professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood development and a commitment to nurturing toddlers.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with families and team members.

• Proficiency with Cadence Education systems and related communication tools.
