About the role
The Learning Officer will support the Uganda Response Innovation Lab (U‑RIL) in turning learning into impact for refugee‑affected communities. Working from the Save the Children office in Kampala, you will collaborate with the Learning Hub team to manage knowledge, synthesize evidence and help scale innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate learning activities led by U‑RIL across humanitarian partners.
- Lead knowledge‑management processes, including data collection, synthesis and dissemination.
- Support the Learning Hub in making evidence accessible and actionable for field actors.
- Contribute to the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative by strengthening the evidence agenda.
- Facilitate cross‑sectoral collaboration among government, UN agencies, NGOs and private‑sector partners.
Required profile
- Strong interest in humanitarian learning, innovation and evidence‑based practice.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for field activities.
