Life Insurance Agent – Hybrid (Kampala)

About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a motivated Life Insurance Agent to join its Kampala team. This full‑time, hybrid position combines office work with flexible home‑based activities, focusing on helping clients protect their financial future.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, engage and qualify potential clients.
• Assess customers’ financial protection needs and recommend appropriate life‑insurance products.
• Deliver policy presentations, prepare quotations and guide clients through application and underwriting.
• Manage an existing client portfolio, providing ongoing service, answering policy inquiries and supporting claims assistance.
• Achieve sales targets, maintain accurate records and participate in regular training and team meetings.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance sales, brokerage or related financial services.
• Good understanding of life‑insurance products, principles and basic financial planning concepts.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Marketing or a related field; professional insurance certifications are a plus.
