Life Insurance Agent – Kampala

About the role

The Life Insurance Agent position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala. You will prospect and engage potential clients, understand their financial goals and protection needs, and present suitable life‑insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients, schedule meetings and present life‑insurance products.
• Explain policy options, prepare quotations, complete applications and support underwriting.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients to review coverage, process policy changes and handle claims inquiries.
• Achieve sales targets, keep accurate records and collaborate with the agency team.
• Participate in ongoing training, market outreach and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance sales and brokerage with the ability to close life‑insurance policies.
• Solid knowledge of finance and insurance concepts to explain products and assess affordability.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant experience in insurance or financial services; diploma or degree in business, finance or related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and meet performance goals.
