About the role
The Early College High School seeks a dedicated Math Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction, supporting dual‑credit courses, and preparing students for post‑secondary success.
Key responsibilities
- Implement AISD high‑school curriculum and Tarrant County College dual‑credit curriculum.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Texas Education Agency standards, accommodating diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress, prepare them for TSI, SAT, ACT, and other examinations.
- Collaborate with special‑education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
- Manage classroom environment, behavior, and safety in accordance with school policies.
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction and support AVID, Pre‑AP, and AP strategies.
- Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as needed.
Required profile
- Master's degree in the subject area (or Master's plus 18 graduate hours) from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
- Knowledge of the assigned mathematics subjects and general curriculum standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
