About the role

The Early College High School seeks a dedicated Math Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction, supporting dual‑credit courses, and preparing students for post‑secondary success.

Key responsibilities

• Implement AISD high‑school curriculum and Tarrant County College dual‑credit curriculum.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Texas Education Agency standards, accommodating diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress, prepare them for TSI, SAT, ACT, and other examinations.
• Collaborate with special‑education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Manage classroom environment, behavior, and safety in accordance with school policies.
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction and support AVID, Pre‑AP, and AP strategies.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as needed.

Required profile

• Master's degree in the subject area (or Master's plus 18 graduate hours) from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge of the assigned mathematics subjects and general curriculum standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
