Mathematics Intervention Teacher (2026/2027)

About the role

The Upland Unified School District is seeking a Mathematics Intervention Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. This position focuses on providing targeted support to students who need additional assistance in mathematics, helping them achieve grade-level proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and small‑group mathematics instruction to students identified for intervention.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based intervention plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Monitor student progress through assessments and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and intervention activities.

Required profile

• Valid teaching credential in Mathematics (Single Subject).
• Letter of Introduction, resume, and credential copy must be submitted.
• Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, non‑discriminatory learning environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of middle‑school and high‑school mathematics content.
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction.
