About the role

The Lyantonde District Service Commission is seeking qualified Ugandan professionals to fill a range of vacant positions across finance, health, education, agriculture, environmental health, and other public‑service functions. Candidates will join the district administration to support service delivery and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out the duties and functions specified in the individual job descriptions for each advertised post.
• Contribute to the effective and transparent operation of Lyantonde District’s public services, adhering to the zero‑tolerance anti‑corruption policy.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and inventories as required by the respective department.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to achieve district objectives and service standards.

Required profile

• Ugandan citizenship with the relevant academic qualifications, professional registrations and licences required for the specific position.
• Submission of a completed PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) in triplicate, together with certified copies of certificates, transcripts, identity documents and passport photographs as outlined in the advertisement.
• Provide three passport‑size photographs and copies of national and institutional identity cards.
• Current district employees must route their applications through the appropriate supervising officer to avoid delays.
