About the role
The Office Receptionist/Admin will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at Dantel Technologies in Kamwokya, Kampala. This role combines front‑desk duties with general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, handling inquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to emails and manage the front‑desk communication flow.
- Schedule and prepare conference rooms, including equipment setup and cleaning.
- Monitor office equipment, maintain inventory of supplies and place orders for replacements.
- Arrange catering, coffee and other refreshments for meetings and events.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and managers.
- Liaise with building management for repairs, maintenance and general updates.
- Provide clerical assistance to other departments as needed.
Required profile
- Entry‑level candidate with at least 12 months of relevant office experience.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with visitors and staff.
