Packaging Process Operator

About the role

Join a dynamic team that values passion, talent and curiosity, and help operate and maintain packaging plants safely and efficiently. You will work in a fast‑moving FMCG environment, applying VPO standards to achieve optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment and plant in packaging process areas according to VPO standards.
• Optimize plant and process performance where appropriate.
• Perform housekeeping tasks applying 5S principles and safe work practices.
• Support the creation and documentation of standard work procedures and quick‑fix routines.
• Carry out quality checks, analyses and record results in the information system.
• Apply problem‑solving techniques (5 WHY, quick‑fix) to address quality issues and escalate unresolved problems.
• Participate in meetings, PI reviews and communicate via shift logbook and hand‑over to incoming shift team members.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the FMCG industry (preferred).
• Understanding of VPO principles.

Required skills

• Operation of packaging plant equipment.
• Application of 5S and safe work practices.
• Quality control and analysis.
• Problem‑solving techniques such as 5 WHY.
