Paints Sales Specialist – Eastern Provinces

About the role

The Paints Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing existing client relationships and expanding the customer base across the eastern provinces. The role combines field sales, market research, and technical support to drive hardware product sales in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with all existing clients in the eastern provinces, regularly following up on order requirements and providing solutions.
• Identify and acquire new customers to increase market share of hardware products, especially paints and related categories.
• Conduct market research to uncover trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for new product categories.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by developing and executing effective sales plans.
• Collaborate with the technical team to offer professional guidance on product selection and technical specifications.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence to continuously refine sales strategies.

Required profile

• Quick, flexible, and able to learn fast; diligent and persistent.
• Experience in the paints business, preferably with relevant products, and a proven track record in customer development and maintenance.
• Willingness to build a long‑term career with the company.
• College degree or higher; majors in mechanical engineering, materials, international trade or related fields are preferred.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in the hardware industry, familiar with product lines such as fasteners and tools.
• Strong business negotiation and customer management abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (overseas business may be involved).
• Ability to travel on short‑term business trips, with high stress resistance and goal‑driven motivation.
