Pharmacy Technician – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services at our Kamwokya location in Kampala. The role involves handling medication inventories, preparing prescriptions, and assisting customers with health‑related products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in maintaining medication inventories and prescription records.
• Assess prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter client information into databases and prepare medications in collaboration with pharmacists.
• Compound pharmaceutical products such as intravenous injections, oral solutions, ointments and creams.
• Process payments for prescriptions and pharmacy services, including billing to third‑party insurers.
• Provide instructions on the use of health aids and medical devices.
• Support scheduling and workflow as needed.

Required profile

• Mid‑level qualification with at least 12 months of relevant experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure prescription accuracy.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and healthcare professionals.
