Phone Sales Agent – Earn per Smartphone Sold

About the role

Majibu Africa is expanding its smartphone financing service across Kampala and needs energetic field sales agents to connect customers with affordable phones. You will work directly in your neighbourhood, signing up customers for a small deposit and daily mobile‑money payments, while earning commission on each device sold.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential customers at boda‑boda stages, markets, salons, shops and trading centres.
• Explain the financing terms: UGX 100,000 deposit followed by a daily payment via MTN MoMo or Airtel Money.
• Register customers in the Majibu app and hand over the approved phone.
• Recruit partner phone shops in your area and earn a commission on their sales.
• Meet weekly sales targets and report progress to your Team Leader.
• Progress to a Team Leader role to earn on the performance of your team.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a valid National ID.
• Resident of Uganda, familiar with the local area.
• Own an Android smartphone.
• Fluent in Luganda and English.
• Honest, self‑driven and motivated to earn.

Required skills

• Basic use of Android smartphones.
